Both the ISO12944-9 standard for offshore maritime settings and the ISO20340 standard for harsh environments could be met by Heresite coatings. Instead of traditional static salt-spray test (ASTM-B117), Heresite has undergone more intensive cyclic testing with the compliance of ISO12944-9 or ISO 20340 procedure cycles through salt spray, sunlight, acid rain and freezing weekly up to 25 weeks.
